At Prem Metal Works, we take pride in the quality of every brass and copper product we ship. This policy explains how returns and refunds are handled.
1. Quality Inspection on Dispatch
Every order is inspected by our QC team before dispatch. We share product photos and weight details on request before shipping bulk orders.
2. Return Eligibility
Products may be returned only if:
- The product is materially different from the agreed specification (gauge, dimension, finish, weight).
- The product is damaged in transit and reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
- There is a manufacturing defect identified within 7 days of receipt.
3. Non-Returnable Items
- Custom-made products (custom dimensions, gauge, or finish).
- Products that have been used, polished, engraved or modified by the buyer.
- Products without original packaging or invoice.
- Minor variations in colour or finish (natural to handmade brass / copper).
4. Return Process
- Email us at info@premmetal.com within the eligibility window with order details and photos.
- Our team will verify and approve the return within 3 working days.
- Ship the product back via a trackable courier (return shipping at buyer's cost unless the issue is our fault).
- On receipt and inspection, refund / replacement is processed.
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 – 10 working days via the original payment mode.
- Bank transfer / NEFT refunds typically reach in 3 – 5 working days.
- GST already paid on the original invoice will be adjusted as per applicable rules.
6. Replacement
If you prefer replacement over refund, we will dispatch a new product (subject to stock) at no extra cost where the issue is from our side.
7. Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch with a full refund. Once an order is dispatched, the return policy above applies.
